Lawyer of Fed Governor Powell: Trump has no authority to dismiss Powell and will bring a lawsuit.

"Trump has no authority to dismiss Fed board member Lisa Cook," Cook's lawyer, Abbe David Lowell, said in a statement. "He is attempting to fire her based solely on a letter, which lacks any factual or legal basis," Lowell said regarding Trump. "We will file a lawsuit against this illegal action."
