Beijing: Strive to build no less than 20 5G factories by 2027.

The "Beijing Municipality's Implementation Plan for Innovative Development of "5G + Industrial Internet" has been officially issued. It aims to build a total of no less than 50 5G industry private networks, create no less than 20 5G factories, and cultivate no less than 50 comprehensive and industry-specific 5G application solution providers by 2027. Promote the construction of industrial 5G networks. Building on the existing 5G network coverage, priority will be given to optimizing 5G networks, deploying industrial 5G private networks, and 5G-A networks in key manufacturing development areas and areas with a high concentration of enterprises in Beijing. Supporting the transformation of enterprise networks with the goal of differentiating industrial enterprise needs, various types of industrial 5G private network construction plans, such as virtual/hybrid, will be developed, with no less than 50 5G industry private networks built and comprehensive enhancement of 5G support capabilities for typical industrial scenarios.
