Turkey adopts a counter-avoidance final ruling on China's hinge chain.

On August 25, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued announcement No. 2025/20, making an affirmative final ruling on the anti-circumvention of hinge chains originating from China. It was determined that the products involved, originating from China, were transshipped through the EU to Turkey to circumvent anti-dumping duties. Therefore, it was decided to impose a 1200 USD/ton anti-dumping duty on hinge chains imported from the EU. The Turkish tariff numbers for the products involved are 7315.11.90.00.11, 7315.11.90.00.19, 7315.12.00.00.11, 7315.12.00.00.19, and 7315.19.00.00.00. The announcement comes into effect from the date of publication.
