Beijing Water Bureau and Beijing Meteorological Bureau upgraded and issued an orange alert for flash floods on August 26, 2025 at 17:30. It is predicted that starting from 20:00 on the 26th, there is a high possibility of flash floods in Fangshan District, Mentougou District, Changping District, Yanqing District, and Haidian District of Beijing, and a relatively high possibility in other mountainous areas. The public is advised to stay away from flash flood channels, suspend outdoor activities involving mountains and waters, and take precautions against flash floods.
