The Mid-Year Work Conference of the Secretary Professional Committee of the China Association of Corporate Directors was held.
The mid-year working meeting of the Professional Committee of the Board Secretary of the China Association of Listed Companies was held on August 22 in Beijing in a hybrid format of on-site and online. The full members of the Board Secretary Committee and more than 1500 board secretaries, financial officers, and securities affairs representatives from over 1500 listed companies participated in the meeting through live broadcasting, totaling over 5400 attendees. The meeting invited Fu Yanchao, Director of the Listed Company Regulatory Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and Dong Wenyuan, Deputy Director of the Office of the Administrative Penalty Committee, to interpret the latest regulatory policies and cases of violations by listed companies. Fu Yanchao focused on the highlights and problems of production and operation of listed companies, delving into the significance of dividends for investors and listed companies, as well as the relevant regulatory policy requirements. He also emphasized that listed companies should strengthen sustainable information disclosure and avoid low-level errors in information disclosure. Dong Wenyuan introduced the overview of administrative penalties for violations of information disclosure by listed companies in 2024, revealing the new characteristics and trends of law enforcement work, and through a series of vivid and lively typical cases, he analyzed in depth the serious consequences and legal responsibilities of violations of information disclosure.
