Ministry of Commerce: will continue to hold roundtable meetings and launch special visits to foreign enterprises to provide service and support.

The State Council Information Office held a press conference at 3:00 pm on August 26. Ling Ji, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations, stated that the Ministry of Commerce now holds roundtable meetings with foreign-funded enterprises every month, and this month a roundtable meeting for foreign-funded enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region was held in Guangzhou. Since last year, we have organized and held 40 roundtable meetings, addressing over 1,500 difficulties and demands of foreign-funded enterprises. Next, we will continue to hold roundtable meetings and carry out special visits under the theme of "serving and supporting foreign enterprises". In activities such as large-scale equipment upgrades, consumer goods replacement, government procurement, bidding, etc., we will treat domestic and foreign-funded enterprises equally and provide a more fair competition environment for foreign-funded enterprises.
