President of the Mexican Football Association, Miguel ngel Alorla, explained that this World Cup will drive economic development through tourism, employment, and infrastructure investment. It is estimated that the event will attract over 5.5 million tourists, generate over $1 billion in tourism revenue, and create around 24,000 direct job opportunities.
