Chery Automobile announces patent for zero-gravity vehicle seats that can prevent accidental trapping and protect passengers.

Tianyancha App shows that on August 26th, the patent applied by Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. for "zero-gravity vehicle seat control method, control device, vehicle, and storage medium" was published. The abstract shows that by obtaining the motor pulse count of the first position of the vehicle seat, calculating the angle corresponding to the current motor pulse count of the first position of the vehicle seat based on the preset pulse count and corresponding angle of the motor at the first position, obtaining the motor pulse count of the second position of the vehicle seat, calculating the angle corresponding to the current motor pulse count of the second position of the vehicle seat based on the preset pulse count and corresponding angle of the motor at the second position; the difference between the angle corresponding to the motor pulse count of the first position and the angle corresponding to the motor pulse count of the second position is calculated, compared to the calibration angle interval corresponding to comfort, to determine if there is a risk of inadvertent trapping of passengers in the vehicle seat, and to take appropriate control measures. In the event of a motor failure, it can be promptly detected and adjusted to prevent inadvertent trapping and protect passengers.
