The first large discount supermarket chain with four stores in the country simultaneously launched, JD Discount Supermarket landed in Suqian on August 30th.

On August 26th, it was reported that as the first large-scale discount supermarket format in the country, JD Discount Supermarket, after the opening of its first store in Zhuozhou, Hebei, will also settle in Suqian, Jiangsu on August 30th, with four stores opening simultaneously. Different from traditional discount supermarkets, JD Discount Supermarket adopts a "large store, multi-SKU" model, gathering daily necessities, fresh food, fast-moving consumer goods, alcoholic beverages, and other categories. The four upcoming stores in Suqian are all over 5000 square meters in size and with over 5000 SKUs, larger than the Zhuozhou store. The four stores are located in Sihong Wuyue Plaza, Shuyang Central Plaza, Suicheng Xiwang City, and Siyang Sunshine Village, all of which are local commercial landmarks in Suqian, or are close to densely populated residential areas.
