For the first time, lithium batteries from Shaanxi Province are being shipped overseas in "containerized shipping" mode.

On August 24, under the coordinated supervision of Guanzhong Customs and Shanwei Customs, 8 new energy vehicles produced by Xi'an BYD Automobile Co., Ltd. and 8 lithium batteries for these vehicles were exported to Cambodia from Shanwei using the "separate box shipping" mode. This is the first time that lithium batteries from Shaanxi have been exported using the "separate box shipping" mode. "Previously, when we exported lithium batteries, a lot of costs were incurred just for the transportation process," said Liu Jie, Customs Manager of Xi'an Fudi Battery Co., Ltd. "Now, with the implementation of the 'separate box shipping' mode by Guanzhong Customs, the export process has been greatly simplified. Each batch of exported products can save at least 7 days of transportation time, reducing logistics costs significantly. This has made us more competitive in the international market."
