On August 26, local time, the Vietnam Dam Management and Natural Disaster Prevention Department announced that Typhoon No. 13, named "Swordfish", has caused 3 deaths and 13 injuries in the country. It is reported that the typhoon brought 200 to 300 millimeters of rainfall to provinces such as Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri, and Bac Kan, with some areas in Hoa Binh province receiving 500 to 600 millimeters of rainfall. Some houses, public facilities, and power grids have been damaged, and 60 communities are without power. The Vietnam National Hydro-Meteorological Forecast Center predicts that on the 26th, there will still be heavy rainfall in the northern mountainous areas, central regions, and the Red River Delta, with high risks of flooding and landslides.
