Wang Hongzhi, Director of the National Energy Administration, stated that in terms of strengthening the foundation of livelihood energy use, we have continuously enhanced infrastructure construction. Over the past five years, we have deepened the implementation of the rural power grid consolidation and upgrade project, with a total allocation of 25 billion yuan from the central budget, driving rural power grid investment exceeding 800 billion yuan. We will further enhance the level of interconnection and efficiency of oil and gas pipelines, and build a solid guarantee for energy consumption. We actively promote the development and utilization of distributed new energy to benefit the people. As of the first half of this year, household photovoltaic installations have reached about 180 million kilowatts, increasing farmers' income by approximately 14 billion yuan annually. We will increase the extension of large power grids to remote areas, continually improve off-grid power supply for islands and others, and strive to bridge the "last mile" of livelihood energy use.
