On the 25th, it was learned from State Grid Tianjin Power that with the assistance of Tianjin Green Electricity and Green Certificate Service Center, venue organizers for the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Tianjin completed a green electricity transaction with local new energy companies, reaching a transaction volume of 1 million kilowatt-hours. This will ensure all activities during the conference are supplied with 100% green electricity, equivalent to reducing the burning of 320 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 800 tons. This is the first time that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit has achieved full green electricity supply for its venues.
