Recently, the 15th batch of Chinese peacekeeping troops to South Sudan successfully passed the combat readiness assessment of the UNMISS, and all assessment items met the United Nations standards. The combat readiness assessment is an important evaluation of peacekeeping troops by the United Nations, covering personnel organization, weapons and equipment, engineering support, emergency response, medical aid, and other aspects. The assessment team evaluated the combat readiness of the Chinese peacekeeping contingent through four stages: listening to reports, comprehensive situation exercises, on-site inspections and questioning, and reviewing software data, covering more than 100 specific items in 11 aspects.
