On the afternoon of August 22, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission Zhou Haibing held a video meeting with Minister of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives of Pakistan, Ikbar. The two sides exchanged views in depth on topics of common concern, such as upgrading the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and agreed to promote the construction of the corridor with higher efficiency, quality, and standards in order to build a closer China-Pakistan community of shared future in the new era. Relevant officials from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport participated in the meeting.
