1 yuan shipping fee becomes history? Express delivery fees rise in many areas, individual customers are not affected.
Recently, there have been reports that express delivery companies in Guangdong, Zhejiang, and other regions have successively raised their delivery fees for e-commerce customers, with the increase ranging from 0.3 yuan to 0.7 yuan, and setting a minimum price of 1.4 yuan per order. Several industry insiders have confirmed this price increase news to the "BUG" column, stating that the increase is mainly targeted at e-commerce customers with low shipping fees, and individual orders are not affected. An industry insider revealed that the express delivery fee increase in Guangdong actually began to be implemented gradually in early August, and the amount of the increase will vary among different delivery companies based on their own situation. "The affected e-commerce businesses are those with relatively low shipping fees, such as those with fees of over 1 yuan or below 1 yuan. Places like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Jieyang, and Shantou in Guangdong are price-sensitive areas, so they will be more impacted," the insider said.
