Former member of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, Shi Jingshan, has been expelled from the party.
According to the report of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision on the 25th, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has initiated a case investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Shi Jingshan, a former member of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress Education, Science, Culture, and Health Committee. After investigation, it was found that Shi Jingshan had lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original mission, resisted organizational investigation; ignored the spirit of the Central Eight Rules, accepted banquets that could potentially affect fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles, sought benefits for others and accepted gifts in work adjustments for cadres; failed to maintain a clean bottom line, accepted gifts and money that could affect fair execution of official duties, engaged in power-for-sex trades, and received gifts after retirement; violated national laws and regulations by gambling; used public power as a means to seek personal gain, engaged in power-for-money transactions, and used his position to benefit others in drug sales, project contracting, and unlawfully accepted large sums of money. Shi Jingshan has seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and personal life discipline, constituting a serious violation of duty and suspicion of bribery crime. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party, he has not restrained himself, and the nature of the violations is serious and the impact is severe, so he should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Regulations on Administrative Sanctions on Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," and after the research and approval of the standing committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Committee, it was decided to expel Shi Jingshan from the Party, cancel his benefits, confiscate his ill-gotten gains, and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, along with all related assets.
