Shanghai optimizes housing provident fund policy.

To increase the support of the housing fund for housing consumption, the "Notice" stipulates the optimization of the housing provident fund policy. Firstly, the individual housing provident fund loan amount will be increased. For depositors purchasing new green buildings with a rating of two stars or above, the maximum housing provident fund loan amount will be increased by 15%. The maximum loan amount for the first set is raised from 1.6 million yuan to 1.84 million yuan, and the proportion for families with multiple children can be cumulatively calculated, raised from 1.92 million yuan to 2.16 million yuan; the maximum loan amount for the second set is raised from 1.3 million yuan to 1.495 million yuan. Secondly, support is provided for withdrawing housing provident fund to pay for the down payment. For depositors purchasing pre-sale residential housing in our city, they can apply to withdraw their own and their spouse's housing provident fund to pay for the down payment. Thirdly, support is provided for "withdraw and loan" of housing provident fund. For depositors who withdraw housing provident fund to pay for the down payment, it will not affect the calculation of their housing provident fund loan amount.
