Canadian Prime Minister Announces Details of Aid to Ukraine
During his visit to Ukraine on the 24th, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau announced the details of aid to Ukraine. According to a news release posted on the official website of the Canadian Prime Minister on that day, Trudeau announced the allocation details of Canada's additional $2 billion military aid to Ukraine promised at the G7 summit in June this year. Approximately $830 million will be used to purchase key equipment for Ukraine, including armored vehicles, medical equipment, weapons and ammunition, and drones; around $680 million will be used to purchase US weapons to aid Ukraine, including anti-aircraft equipment. During his visit to Ukraine, Trudeau met with Ukrainian President Zelensky. Zelensky later expressed his gratitude on social media for Canada's assistance.
