Reporters learned from the Ministry of Natural Resources that, due to the impact of Typhoon "Swordfish," today, the National Marine Forecasting Center issued a yellow warning for high waves and a blue warning for storm surges. It is expected that from the morning to late night on August 25th, the northern bay will experience waves ranging from 4 to 6 meters, with the eastern, southern, and western seas of Hainan and Guangxi experiencing waves ranging from 2 to 3.4 meters. As for storm surges, the western and northern coasts of Hainan Island will experience a storm surge of 30 to 50 centimeters, while Guangxi and the western coast of the Leizhou Peninsula will experience a storm surge of 40 to 90 centimeters.
