On August 25, Zhao Zeng, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs, introduced at the "High-Quality Completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" series of themed press conference held by the State Council Information Office that since the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the customs, together with the health and disease control departments, have strengthened joint prevention and control. A total of 640 million inbound passengers and 300 million inbound transportation vehicles have undergone health quarantine, and 5.25 million vectors have been intercepted, effectively preventing the entry of more than 30 kinds of vector-borne infectious diseases.
