Tianfeng Securities stated that MOSAIC is backward compatible with existing standard link formats (such as pluggable QSFP/OSFP) and electrical host interfaces (such as PCIe or VSR/MR) without the need to modify servers or switches, allowing it to directly replace existing copper links. The prototype has been validated using Ethernet and InfiniBand protocol stacks and compatibility with new protocols such as NVink and CXL has been confirmed. Mosaic adopts the WaS architecture, utilizing a large number of parallel channels, with each channel running at a relatively lower data rate of 2Gbps. It is expected that this solution will benefit greatly from the adoption of MicroLED, multi-core imaging optical fibers, TIR lenses, CMOS sensors, and MicroLED optical connectors. It is recommended to pay attention to: MicroLED + optical modules, MicroLED chips, multi-core imaging optical fibers, potential TIR lens suppliers, CMOS sensors, etc.
