Tianfeng Securities stated that MOSAIC is backward compatible with existing standard link forms and electrical host interfaces, and can directly replace existing copper links without the need to change servers or switches, and has validated the prototype with Ethernet and InfiniBand protocol stacks, confirming its compatibility with new protocols such as NVink and CXL. Mosaic adopts the WaS architecture, utilizing a large number of parallel channels, with each channel running at a relatively low data rate of 2Gbps. It is expected that if this solution is adopted on a large scale, MicroLED, multi-core imaging optical fibers, TIR lenses, CMOS sensors, and MicroLED optical connectors are likely to be the main beneficiaries.
