Around noon, when the Full Orthopedic Surgery Robot, under the control of Professor Nan Shaoqui, completed the final precise movement, the highest-altitude robot-assisted knee surgery was declared successful giving a 70-year-old Tibetan man a new lease on life for his knee joints. "Breathing is quite difficult here, but the robot performed very steadily, unaffected by the environment," remarked Professor Nan Shaoqui from the Sixth Medical Center of the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, who had just finished the surgery. Beside him, the Full Orthopedic Surgery Robot developed independently by Shenzhen Yuanhua Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. had just undergone a 2-hour extreme test. "In an operating room with only 50% of the oxygen levels found on the plains, its mechanical arm remained as stable as a rock, with sub-millimeter precision in its movements," Nan Shaoqui exclaimed.
