Hubei: First Flight of 50 Kilometer Intercity Drone Logistics Route.

On August 22nd, the first 50-kilometer cross-city drone logistics route in Hubei successfully completed its maiden flight. The drone flew from Han Zheng Street in Wuhan to the Huazhong Feather Down Smart Industry Park in Hanchuan, Xiaogan, covering the distance in approximately 35 minutes. Han Xin, the person in charge of Eagle Express at Hubei Diangying Technology Group Co., Ltd., explained that the flight plan had been approved through the comprehensive drone supervision service platform. The drone used for the flight was a vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing type suitable for long-distance transportation, with a carrying capacity of 3 to 5 kilograms. The entire flight was monitored by a certified pilot and equipped with multiple safety redundancies to ensure flight safety.
