Ukraine: Zelensky only discusses territorial issues with Putin.
According to a report on the website of Russian news agency Sputnik on August 23, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislitsa said in an interview with NBC News that Zelensky is only prepared to discuss territorial issues in his meeting with Russian President Putin. He said, "When we talk about territorial issues, I think President Zelensky has clearly stated that he is prepared to sit down with President Putin to discuss these issues, and the current contact line is the starting point for dialogue on territorial issues." The report stated that on the 18th, US President Trump met with Zelensky and European leaders at the White House. After the meeting, Zelensky said that territorial issues will be decided by both Russia and Ukraine, but there is currently no specific date for a meeting between the two sides. Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated on the 22nd that there is no scheduled meeting between Putin and Zelensky, but as soon as the meeting agenda is ready, the Russian President is willing to meet with him.
