Strong winds and rain may result in flooding in low-lying farmland, damage to economic fruit trees causing branches to break and fruits to fall, and damage to agricultural and fishery facilities. The risk of flooding in farmland and wind disasters is higher in southeastern Guangxi, southwestern Guangdong, western and northern parts of Hainan Island; The risks of flooding in farmland and wind disasters are high in the southeastern part of Hainan. It is suggested that the above-mentioned areas clear ditches and channels before the arrival of strong winds and rain, harvest mature fruits and vegetables in advance, and promptly drain stagnant water and apply fertilizer after the rain; also, strengthen agricultural and fishery facilities, and fishing boats operating at sea should return to port in time to avoid the wind.
