National Energy Administration: By the end of July, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity reached 3.67 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%.
On August 23, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity industry statistics for the period of January to July. As of the end of July, the total installed capacity of the national power generation was 3.67 billion kilowatts, an increase of 18.2% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was 1.1 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 50.8%; and the installed capacity of wind power was 570 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%. From January to July, the average utilization of power generation equipment in the country was 1806 hours, a decrease of 188 hours compared to the same period last year.
