Data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) of the United States shows that, as of the week ending on August 19, speculative natural gas traders in the four major markets of the New York Mercantile Exchange and Intercontinental Exchange increased their net long positions by 15,855 contracts to 220,052 contracts.
