Over 50 Chinese companies including Tencent appeared at the 2025 Cologne International Game Expo.

The largest global game expo, Gamescom Cologne, opened in Cologne, Germany. According to the official introduction of the expo, this year there are more than 1500 exhibitors from 72 countries and regions around the world, an increase of 11% from last year, including well-known companies such as Nintendo, Microsoft, Tencent, Bandai Namco, Ubisoft, and Capcom, setting a record in the history of Gamescom Cologne. In terms of Chinese companies, more than 50 participated, including Tencent, miHoYo, Xishanju, Yingjiao, Diezhi, Lingyoufang, and Hero Games, an overall increase of 32% compared to last year.
