Hubei: By 2030, the coverage of provincial-level water network projects will reach 90%.

The General Office of the People's Government of Hubei Province recently issued the implementation opinions on the comprehensive promotion of the construction of a happy river and lake. It mentioned promoting the construction of a safe and resilient modern water network. Thoroughly implement the "Jingchu Anlan" modern water network plan, promote the construction of national water network backbone projects, and build provincial and county-level water network pilot areas to a high standard. Accelerate the improvement of the basin flood control engineering system, optimize the flood control layout of the Yangtze River, Han River, and Qing River basins, promote flood control and management of important tributaries such as Huang River, Fu River, and Ju River, accelerate the implementation of small and medium-sized river management projects such as Sanxi River, Qingxi River, and Huayang River. Improve the flood control and drainage system of lakes such as Daye Lake and Wushan Lake, promote the construction of flood control and drainage projects in key flood-prone areas, implement the upgrading of lake embankments to meet standards, build external drainage capacity, and enhance the storage capacity of lakes. By 2030, the coverage of provincial water network projects will reach 90%, and the standard rate of levees of grade 3 and above in the whole province will exceed 90%.
