Evergrande Real Estate Guangdong Company was ruled to be bankrupt and liquidated by the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court.

On August 22, the Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court announced on the national enterprise bankruptcy and reorganization case information network that it had ruled on August 20 to accept the bankruptcy liquidation case of Evergrande Real Estate Group Guangdong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. The court has appointed a liquidation group to act as the administrator of Evergrande Real Estate Guangdong Company. Creditors of Evergrande Real Estate Guangdong Company must declare their claims to the administrator before November 20, 2025. This means that Evergrande Real Estate Guangdong Company has officially entered the bankruptcy process.
