Closing Report: Shanghai Composite Index opened high and closed 1.45% higher. The semiconductor sector saw gains across the board.

The three major A-share indexes collectively closed higher, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 1.45%, the Shenzhen Component Index up 2.07%, the ChiNext Index up 3.36%, and the CSI 50 Index up 0.69% at the close. The total turnover in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing exceeded 2.5788 trillion yuan for the whole day, an increase of 87.2 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 2800 stocks in the entire market rose. In terms of sector themes, the semiconductor, securities, and CPO sectors rose, while the dairy and gas sectors adjusted. In the market, the semiconductor sector was strong, with Shengmei Shanghai, Haiguang Information, Huanwuji, and Chengdu Huawei 20CM limit up. The securities sector rose, with Everbright Securities and Xinda Securities limit up. The CPO sector strengthened, with Fangzheng Technology and Xuguang Electronics limit up. The dairy sector weakened, with Kaituo Biotechnology falling by nearly 4%. The gas sector weakened, with Hongtong Gas falling by over 2%.
