On August 22nd at around 3 o'clock, a major accident occurred at the Jiaza Yellow River Bridge construction site on the Qinghai section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, where a construction rope broke. As of 8 o'clock on the 22nd, it had resulted in 4 deaths and 12 people missing. Upon receiving the report, the Emergency Management Department immediately deployed a working group to the scene to guide the rescue efforts, urgently clarify the situation of the personnel, coordinate and dispatch water rescue forces, spare no effort in searching for the missing persons in the water, and promptly determine the cause of the accident, draw lessons from it, and decisively prevent similar accidents from happening.
