The second phase of cross-border transportation diversion and transshipment in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong port will be implemented starting today.
On August 21, the Shenzhen Port Office issued a notice that the new regulations for the second phase of diversion and transfer of cross-border transportation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong will officially be implemented from 0:00 on August 22, 2025. According to the notice, starting from 0:00 on August 22, 2025, cross-border trucks carrying specific goods are limited to customs clearance through the Shenzhen Bay Port and prohibited from customs clearance through the Huanggang Port. The passage time for vehicles carrying specific goods through the Shenzhen Bay Port is from 9:30 to 17:00. The notice specifies that cross-border trucks entering and exiting the Shenzhen Bay Port via prohibited roads such as Dongbin Road and Keyuan South Road must obtain a temporary passing permit in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Shenzhen Traffic Police Department, and the passing time is subject to the time indicated on the permit. Additionally, cross-border trucks carrying specific goods passing through the Shenzhen-Hong Kong land port must comply with the relevant regulations of the "Shenzhen Dangerous Chemicals Prohibited and Restricted List".
