On August 21, the Xiamen Regulatory Bureau of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission announced the approval of the appointment qualifications of Jia Zhiwei as the General Manager (President) of the Bank of Macau International Limited. The bank is required to ensure that the approved individuals strictly comply with the relevant regulatory requirements of the Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and to report to the regulatory authority within 3 months of the approval date of this administrative permit decision. If the approved individual fails to take up the position within the specified period, this approval document will be invalidated and the regulatory authority will handle the procedures for canceling the administrative permit.
