After experiencing a continuous low price period and approaching the "Golden September and Silver October" season, titanium dioxide companies have once again collectively announced price increases. In recent days, there have been reports in the market showing that, based on the current market situation, Longbai Group has decided to raise the sales prices of various types of titanium dioxide by 500 RMB/ton for domestic customers and 70 USD/ton for international customers starting from August 18, 2025. Upon hearing this news, many other manufacturers have announced price increases as well, and some titanium dioxide companies have even issued notices to suspend new orders. According to the notice, in view of the changing market trends in the titanium dioxide industry, the company has decided to suspend new orders for titanium dioxide sales starting immediately and to delay the delivery of existing orders as much as possible until the market situation becomes clearer. Industry insiders have stated that this adjustment in factory prices by many companies is the first increase in the industry after the last price hike in March, marking the first price adjustment in the second half of the year. Analysts from Zhuochuang Information and Longzhong Information both confirm that the recent price increase announced by Longbai is a common industry practice. Following Longbai's price adjustment announcement, many domestic titanium dioxide companies have followed suit, and as of now, over 20 production companies have officially announced price increases.
