Former party member and deputy mayor Huang Xuezhi of Zigong City Government in Sichuan Province was expelled from the Communist Party and dismissed from public office.

According to the news from the Discipline Inspection Commission of Sichuan Province, recently, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Sichuan Province has filed a case to investigate the serious disciplinary and legal issues of Huang Xuezhi, former member of the party group and deputy mayor of Zigong City Government. After investigation, it was found that Huang Xuezhi had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and missions, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, resisted organizational investigations; violated organizational principles, did not truthfully explain issues during organizational inquiries, sought benefits for others and accepted bribes in cadre selection and appointment work; violated the bottom line of integrity, received gifts improperly for a long time, and had others pay for expenses that should have been paid personally; was derelict in duty, failed to effectively implement local supervision responsibilities for safety production; violated daily life discipline; had misguided thoughts and actions, used his position to seek benefits for others in business operations, project contracting, and job promotion, and accepted substantial bribes.
