On August 21, the Market Supervision Administration of Chengdu High-tech Zone reported: Regarding the online concern that "a car owner reported that a 50-liter fuel tank was filled with 67.96 liters of gasoline", the relevant situation is now reported as follows. The gas station involved is the Gaoneng Tianshan Gas Station of Sichuan Chengdu Sales Branch of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Co., Ltd., located in the Fangcao Street Sub-district of Chengdu High-tech Zone. The gas pump involved is pump #6, which was sealed by the staff on the day of the incident on August 9, 2025, and is still out of service. On the 11th, after receiving the complaint from the complainant, the Market Supervision Administration of Fangcao Street Sub-district of High-tech Zone promptly communicated with the complainant and conducted an on-site inspection at the gas station on the 12th. Currently, the relevant situation is under comprehensive investigation, and the next step will be to deal with it in accordance with the law and regulations based on the investigation results.
