The combination of the national subsidy and the 618 promotion double boost led to a surge in smartphone sales in the second quarter. On August 20th, the list of "Top 500 Global Brands in China Online for the Second Quarter of 2025", compiled by the National Development Research Institute of Peking University and with technical support from Alibaba's Taotian Group, was released. Smartphone brands performed well, with Apple, Xiaomi, Huawei, vivo, OPPO, and Honor all breaking into the top 50. Among them, Apple, with its stable overall performance, received the highest overall score and ranked first on the list.
