Ministry of Commerce: By the end of July, the number of rural online merchants in the country exceeded 19.5 million.

At the regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce today, the ministry's spokesperson stated that rural logistics systems have been increasingly improved and e-commerce entrepreneurship remains active this year. By the end of July, the number of rural online shops nationwide has exceeded 19.5 million. The spokesperson introduced that since 2022, the county-level commercial construction action has supported the construction and transformation of 1,285 county-level logistics centers and 1,457 township express logistics stations, leading to the continuous improvement of the rural logistics system. Currently, from the snowy plateau of Tibet's Bangor County to the easternmost point of the country, Fuyuan City in Heilongjiang province, the county and township logistics distribution network continues to improve, and the scale of joint distribution in rural areas continues to expand. The national administrative village express service coverage rate has reached 95%.
