August 21st: The "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products 200" increased by 0.15 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on August 21, the "Farm Product Wholesale Price Index 200" was 115.57, an increase of 0.15 points compared to yesterday. The "basket of vegetables" product wholesale price index was 115.97, an increase of 0.17 points compared to yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 20.03 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; beef was 65.14 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; mutton was 60.08 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% from yesterday; eggs were 7.73 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.4% from yesterday; and chicken breasts were 17.49 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.6% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.89 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.5% from yesterday; the average price of the 6 key monitored fruits was 6.93 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 22.19 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.6% from yesterday; carp was 15.62 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.5% from yesterday; white carp was 10.15 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 40.51 yuan/kg, an increase of 2.7% from yesterday. Among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market today, the top five with the largest price increases compared to yesterday were cucumbers, celery, bighead carp, carrots, and eggplants, with increases of 3.5%, 3.2%, 2.7%, 2.6%, and 2.5% respectively; while the top five with the largest price decreases were white carp, flower carp, chicken breasts, crucian carp, and carp, with decreases of 0.7%, 0.7%, 0.6%, 0.6%, and 0.5% respectively.
