Li Henian, former general manager of Liuzhou Urban Investment Construction Development Co., Ltd., has been expelled from the party.

According to the news from the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Liuzhou City, with the approval of the Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee, the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Liuzhou City has initiated a case investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Li Henian, the former general manager of Liuzhou Urban Investment and Construction Development Co., Ltd. After investigation, it was found that Li Henian had lost his ideals and beliefs, abandoned his original intentions and missions, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, obstructed organizational investigations; disregarded the spirit of the Eight-point Regulations of the Central Committee, accepted gifts in violation of rules, and attended banquets that could influence the fair execution of official duties; concealed personal matters from the organization; abused his position for personal gain in engineering project bids, and illegally accepted large sums of money. Li Henian seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and life discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and is suspected of bribery crimes. Furthermore, since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, he has not restrained himself, and the nature of his actions is serious and has a negative impact. Therefore, he should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Discipline of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," and other relevant regulations, after discussion by the Standing Committee of the Liuzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee, it has been decided to expel Li Henian from the Party; cancel his retirement benefits as prescribed; confiscate his illegal gains; and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial authorities for investigation and prosecution. Additionally, all assets involved in the case will be confiscated.
