According to reports from various media outlets such as the Ukrainian news website "RBC.UA," on the 21st, Russian forces launched large-scale airstrikes on multiple areas in Ukraine including the capital city of Kyiv, with explosions heard throughout the region. The Ukrainian Independent News Agency and "RBC.UA" reported that the Russian side used drones and missiles to launch attacks on Kyiv, Chernihiv, Mukachevo, Lviv, and other areas, with the sound of explosions reported as air defense systems were activated. A natural gas facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine caught fire after being attacked. As of the time of writing, no official response from the Russian government has been reported regarding the above-mentioned incidents.
