The Yangtze River Delta Demonstration Zone Developer Alliance has expanded its membership, welcoming its first foreign company.

On the 20th, at the annual meeting of the founding members of the Longyang Ecological Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone Developer Alliance in the Yangtze River Delta in 2025, the sixth batch of 14 units joined the Developer Alliance. This year, the alliance welcomed its first foreign enterprise, and three Zhejiang enterprises including Chint Group, Tianneng Holdings Group, and Wasu Digital Television Media Group joined. In August 2020, the Developer Alliance was initiated by 12 units including China Three Gorges Group, and has developed a total of 88 member units in the past five years, enhancing the competitiveness of the technology industry in the Yangtze River Delta by aggregating innovative resources from leading enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the region. Among the new members who joined this year, there were 6 state-owned enterprises, 6 private enterprises, 1 university, and 1 foreign enterprise. It is reported that the first foreign enterprise member is the German TUI Group, the largest tourism group in Europe, with business covering approximately 180 destinations worldwide. The company has already signed a contract with alliance member Shanghai Meifan to participate in the second phase of the Shanghai Meifan International Sailing Port project, and promote cooperation in high-level sailing events such as the Kiel Sailing Week and the Demonstration Zone Sailing Week, which will help to promote the high-quality development of the shipping and water industries in the Yangtze River Delta.
