Leading the way! Tibet's extraordinary 60 years

On the morning of August 21, the 60th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region was grandly held in Lhasa. The celebration featured a grand mass parade, with 26 mass parade teams and floats marching in cheerful music. The first float to come was the "Guiding Flag" float. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Tibet has established a socialist system and people's democratic government, implemented reform and opening up, and together with the rest of the country, is on track to fully build a moderately prosperous society and embark on a new journey of building a socialist modernization country. It has created a "miracle of human achievement in just a few decades, leapfrogging over a thousand years". The 60 years since the establishment of the Tibet Autonomous Region have been extraordinary.
