On August 21, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, relevant departments and localities have been continuously carrying out the disposal of rumors related to genetically modified organisms (GMO), resolutely cracking down on the use of GMO rumors for attracting followers, illegal profiteering, and other behaviors, and legally and in accordance with regulations, targeting a group of maliciously fabricating and spreading GMO rumors on the Internet.
