According to data released by the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics on the 21st, in July, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Jiangsu Province reached 349.22 billion yuan, an increase of 0.6% year-on-year; from January to July, the total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 4.4% year-on-year. The activity in rural markets is gradually increasing, with the retail sales of consumer goods in rural areas above the designated limit in the province increasing by 7.0% year-on-year from January to July, which is 1.8 percentage points higher than the growth rate of retail sales in urban areas above the designated limit.
