The Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions set up the first "Hong Kong-Macao Youth Patriotic Education Base" in mainland China.

This morning, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government held a ceremony to establish the first "patriotic education base for Hong Kong and Macao youth" in mainland China at the Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War. After the establishment of the base, it will become an important platform for nurturing the patriotic sentiment of young people from Hong Kong and Macao, deepening their understanding of national history, and enhancing their patriotism. Representatives of young people from Hong Kong and Macao stated that as the young people of the new era, they should remember history, cherish peace, inherit the spirit of the great Anti-Japanese War, bravely shoulder the historical mission, and actively contribute their youthful strength to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the construction of a strong country.
