Yang Yunyong, former deputy secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Zhigong Party and general manager of Guizhou Suanli Technology Co., Ltd., has been dismissed from his public office.
According to the news from the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Commission has initiated an investigation into the serious violations of duty by Yang Yunyong, former deputy head of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party and general manager of Guizhou State Power Technology Co., Ltd.
After investigation, it was found that Yang Yunyong, as a state public official, had lost his ideal and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, disregarded the spirit of the Central Committees eight-point regulations, accepted gifts, money, and banquets that could potentially affect the impartial exercise of official power; engaged in profit-making activities in violation of integrity requirements; engaged in corrupt practices, abused his power to seek personal benefits for others in project contracting, payment allocation, and accepted a large amount of illegal money and goods.
Yang Yunyong's actions constitute serious violations of duty and suspicion of bribery crimes. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, he has not corrected his behavior, his actions are serious and have a negative impact, and he should be dealt with seriously. Based on relevant provisions of the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Administrative Penalties for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, after discussion at its standing committee meeting and approval from the Guizhou Provincial Committee, has decided to dismiss Yang Yunyong from his position, confiscate his illegal gains, and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution, along with the confiscated property.
